The Reverend Amy Dafler Meaux
The Reverend Amy Dafler Meaux was born in Beaufort, South Carolina and over the years has lived in varied places ranging from North Carolina to Louisiana to Texas and now Kentucky. She received her Masters of Divinity from The Seminary of the Southwest in Austin, Texas. She has served three Episcopal Churches: Trinity Episcopal Church, New Orleans, Louisiana; Saint Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church, Dallas, Texas; and now, Trinity Episcopal Church, Danville, KY. As a priest, Amy is passionate about sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ as it transforms our daily lives, giving us strength and courage to become the people God calls us to be. Mark Kano, Choirmaster
Mark Kano, tenor, made his international debut in Rome, Italy performing under the baton of Maestro Francesco Carotenuto in 2010. Mark has performed roles with the Cincinnati Opera, Kentucky Opera, Nashville Opera, Lexington Singers, Middle Tennessee Choral Society, Lexington Philharmonic Orchestra, Kentucky Symphony Orchestra, and the Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra. He has been a finalist in the Orpheus National Voice Competition, as well as a winner in the Mid-South Regional NATS competition. Mark was awarded the Torch Bearer of Excellence Award by the University of Kentucky Graduate School, as well as twice the recipient of the Phyllis Jenness Outstanding Voice Student Award, and most recently awarded the Tom Getchell DMA Voice Student Award by the Lexington Opera Society. As an arts administrator, Mark has worked with the Nashville Opera, the William E. Schmidt Foundation, and the University of Kentucky Opera Theatre. Mr. Kano holds B.M. and M.M. degrees in voice performance and is currently a candidate for the doctorate of musical arts degree in voice performance at the University of Kentucky. Mark has served on the voice faculty with the Kentucky Center Governor’s School for the Arts and the University of Kentucky. He currently serves on the voice faculty at Centre College, Bellarmine University, and Transylvania University and proudly serves as Choirmaster at Trinity Episcopal Church in Danville, KY.

In addition, Jennifer Earle serves as the Church Treasurer and is on the Property Committee; and Margaret Gardiner is the Vestry Clerk.
In conjunction with the Rector and the Church Treasurer, the Vestry meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Fireside Room. After the minutes of a meeting are approved (usually at the next vestry meeting), they are posted in the Parish Hall. Any member of the Vestry would be happy to present requests or concerns to the full Vestry. Parishioners can also present them directly to the Vestry at its meetings.
