The Reverend Amy Dafler Meaux
The Reverend Amy Dafler Meaux was born in Beaufort, South Carolina and over the years has lived in varied places ranging from North Carolina to Louisiana to Texas and now Kentucky. She received her Masters of Divinity from The Seminary of the Southwest in Austin, Texas. She has served three Episcopal Churches: Trinity Episcopal Church, New Orleans, Louisiana; Saint Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church, Dallas, Texas; and now, Trinity Episcopal Church, Danville, KY. As a priest, Amy is passionate about sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ as it transforms our daily lives, giving us strength and courage to become the people God calls us to be. She is married with three children and is an avid knitter. In addition, Jennifer Earle serves as the Church Treasurer and is on the Property Committee; and Margaret Gardiner is the Vestry Clerk.
In conjunction with the Rector and the Church Treasurer, the Vestry meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Fireside Room. After the minutes of a meeting are approved (usually at the next vestry meeting), they are posted in the Parish Hall. Any member of the Vestry would be happy to present requests or concerns to the full Vestry. Parishioners can also present them directly to the Vestry at its meetings.
