In our efforts to serve the community, Trinity is offering a craft table during the Community Easter Egg Hunt, Saturday, March 26th from 10:00 am - 11:30 am. Reverend Meaux needs 3 volunteers (6th grade and older). Please email her (revmeaux at trinitydanville.org), if you are able to help. THANK YOU!

We are always looking for more ways to take care of our parish, both the little and big members alike. To this end, our next Parent’s Night Out will take place on Wednesday, April 9th from 5:00to 9:00 p.m. There will be activities and food for all who attend! If you plan on bringing your child or children to take part in this event, please RSVP to the office.

ONE NEW ANNOUNCEMENT:

Heritage Hospice seeks volunteers in its service area of Boyle, Garrard, Lincoln and Mercer counties. A training will be held 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 19, at their office: 120 Enterprise Drive, Danville. Volunteers are an important part of the end of life care the organization provides. Volunteers stay with patients and allow the caregivers to leave the home for a couple of hours a week. Volunteers also work with the Transitions program, which supports people who are receiving curative treatment. Volunteers also perform clerical work at the office. Anyone who is interested may call Wendy Hellard, Director of Volunteer Services, at 859-236-2425.

If you are willing to deliver our peanut butter collection to Indian Hills, please speak with Reverend Meaux. It's easy and takes about 5 minutes.

Holy Week Announcements

Sign-up sheets to serve as a Lay Minister in all capacities during Holy Week services (March 20-27) are in the back of the Sanctuary. This includes readers for the Passion, Acolytes, and Chalice Bearers.

Following the Maundy Thursday service, we will keep Vigil in the Sanctuary until the Good Friday service. We’re asking members to sign up in shifts to take part in the Vigil. Throughout the evening, the Vigil will be broken into hour long shifts; then on the morning of Friday, March 25th, the Vigil will be kept in 15 minute shifts in hopes of having families take part.

Please see sign-ups at the back of the Sanctuary.

Teachers are needed for Wednesday Night Live! Children’s classes. Amy will teach you how to convey the lessons to the children, so don’t worry. It’s do-able! Please sign up through the office. Teachers needed for April 6th, April 13th, April 20th, and April 27th.

NOW ACCEPTING donations of household goods, sports equipment, tools (no clothing, electronics or books, please) in the basement room below the Fireside Room. 

Barbara's Attic (organized by Barbara Hulette) is accepting "better" items:  fine china, crystal, silver, furniture, collectibles, artwork. Barbara has already received some very nice Madame Alexander dolls and Breyer model horses (maybe just what you need for a young lady in your family?).  

Remember us as you clean out your Attics, Basements and Closets! Proceeds of the sale will be divided between outreach and parish needs.
